About Leigh Cricket Club
Earlier this year we were contacted by Leigh Cricket Club to help them with promoting games, events and functions facilities. With Bowls and Tennis also on site and it’s state of the art sporting facilities, including function rooms, flood lit pitches plus it’s abilities to even hold weddings and civil ceremonies, these guys have a lot to shout about. A clear need for some very clever signage.
Events Board and a Fixture Board.
We started dialogue with the club in early February, so enabling everyone a bit of time to get this project off the ground and up and installed before the pending 2017 cricket season. As with all sports clubs needing a changeable sign system, we understand fully that a committee will be involved somewhere to all agree on formats. Our situ proofing went a long way to help speed up this process, ensuring all involved had a clear picture of how the sign was going to look. This is also a handy ‘bolt on’ if planning consent is required for a new site for a sign board, recreating digitally how the final board will look. All readerboards require is a picture taken from your smart phone, a typical message and a hint regarding the photo’s dimensions and we will do the rest!
Sponsorship.
Crucially, the club had the foresight to see there was sponsorship opportunities here with their active and large social media following, so were able to secure some lucrative sponsorship opportunities with local businesses to dilute down the initial cost of the changeable sign board. We like to think our dedicated pages on the site regarding sponsorship helps someway! We think MK McLaughlins Kitchens must be delighted. Since it’s installation, which was carried out by the club by simply attaching the fully assembled sign to the wall, Leigh Cricket Club have been back in touch for a few extras to make the sign really stand out. Red letters can make a huge difference to the sign’s visibility and it looks like the club are doing fantastically well both online and offline in the real world, updating and changing messages regularly.
